Re: Vehicle identity requests
This is a long shot, but can someone identify the radio vehicle in the background?

Hello,
I think it is a Horch m.gl.Pkw, Medium Cross-Country Car, Kfz 15 radio car.
Kerry.

Hi Alif, hi Kerry,
You are right Kerry, it is a m.gl.Pkw, medium cross-country car type 40. Here the same car from another perspective (source of the pic: "Afrikakorps" by Francois de Lannoy).
Best regards
Bert

Re: Vehicle identity requests
I just found the answer. An 8 cm Raketen Vielfachwerfer auf Fahrgestell Zgkw S303(f) based on an armored Somua MCG.https://www.armedconflicts.com/8-cm-Rak ... 3-f-t11368

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Kerry,
Thanks,
I just found that after I posted my last. I don't know why I didn't check there before. Forest and trees and all that, I guess. No doubt I have to work on my French armour recognition.
Cheers,
Max

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Max,
You was right. It is a vehicle on the chassis of a Somua MCL - 5, not a MCG. There is a wrong information (MCG) on the site https://www.armedconflicts.com/8-cm-Rak ... 3-f-t11368. Please compare the front wheels between these two models of Somua.
Best regards
Bert

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Bert,
Thanks. The MCG chassis should be S 307 (f) not 303.
