Re: Vehicle identity requests
Alexander,
I believe that is a Type 33, possibly a D1.
Kerry.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Kerry, hi uncle,
that´s an excellent ID with the Berliet truck; Slava. I totally agree with You. It could be the type GDRK. Here a commercial from 1936.
Best regards
Bert

Re: Vehicle identity requests
According wheels and rims, it looks like a Delage car

Re: Vehicle identity requests
I agree with von thoma and Bert on the Delage. I can't find an exact match (beaucoup carrossier!). It could be a D8-100 or 120 but compare the silhouette of the D6-75 cabriolet in this 1939 ad. There's another possibility.
Cheers,
Max

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Here is a picture showing Schwimmwagens of the 3.SS-Panzerdivision "Totenkopf" in July 1944. We can see a StuG.III in the background but what is the tracked vehicle driving just behind the assault gun ?
Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Charles
It is another Stug III equipped with Ostketten. The crew has built a storage box of some type and mounted it on the backside of the engine deck. The fuzziness of the photo masks the fact that it is a wooden structure.
Thanks
Richard
