Hi Max,
the abbreviation "HWM" means Hubert-Marcel Willems. Willems was the founder of his own workshop in Antwerp, Belgium. He produced only a few busses and trucks. Here a pic of another bus of this firm. That could be the same type.

Good to hear from you. I was thinking Stoewer Greif Junior, but the position of the fuel filler cap gives me pause. So far that's the closest I tail end I can come up with with though.
