Hi Bert,
Certainly it belongs to BL family but could be also 3 BLD. Impossible to say without seeing the manufacturer's plate.
Cheers!

Hi Dave, Sturm,
Good ID. Here is an interesting pic showing the side view of this type vehicle:

I have seen this identified as both a 7,5 cm PaK 44 auf 3-ton Zugkraftwagen and an Sd. Kfz. 251 Ausf B with a KwK 42 L70.
??

Sorry, Max. I don´t know his exact designation but I would say that the halftrack is more a modified SdKfz 11 than a SdKfz 251....

On the other hand, is this a Kfz.17 Fernsprech-Betriebskraftwagen ??

Hello Sturm,
Thank you. I see your point, in which case we are talking about the later Sd. Kfz. 11, the Auto-Union 3 ton Leichter Zugkraftwagen:
Auto-Union 3t Zugkraftwagen-late Sd. Kfz. 11.jpg
The Sdkfz 11 and 251 share the same chassis, right? I still wonder which gun is correct though.

I agree that your Kfz. 17 looks like a Fernsprechbetriebskraftwagen what with the cable reel on the side. Good ID.

Hi Max.
Some information:
Chassis - Mittlere Schutzenpanzerwagen (Sd.Kfz. 251)
Cannon – 7,5cm KwK 42 L70 (field variant Panther cannon)

Hi uncle,
So the second option was correct. Thanks very much for clearing this up. The nose looks like either an Ausf A or B chassis. I've not seen this variant before. Was this just a prototype, do you know?
Cheers,
Max

Hi Max.
Yes, prototype.
Ausf A or B chassis very similar.
