Hi G_Mendes,

to Your question about a possible partial view of the rear of the Ford tankers. I think You are right. Here two pics of such Ford tankers
(source: also expired ebay auction).

Regards

Bert
Hello Bert,
Many many thanks for your reply, I was sure to see those two photos before, but couldn't find them !!!
Best regards,

Looks very Renaulty ! LOL I would say about 1935 vintage but I haven't found a solid match yet. Appears to have 6 bolt wheels ?

Hi Sturm, hi Bert,

sorry Bert, but today I don´t agree with You. I think it is a mittlerer Einheits-PKW. It could be a Horch 901 type 40. My PC had a total breakdown, so I cannot scan and show You a good pic of this vehicle.

Best regards

Bert

Hi Sturm 78,hi Bert,

here the pic of the mittlerer Einheits-PKW (source of the pic: Waffen-Arsenal Band 157 "Der mittlere Einheits-PKW der Deutschen Wehrmacht 1937 - 1945" by Dr. Hans-Georg Mayer-Stein). Good, that I have not only a PC, but also a laptop. So I could scan this pic in the end.

Best regards

Bert

Hi uncle, hi Dirk, hi Richard,

sorry, but this time (#11119) I cannot agree. For me it is not a Renault, rather a Berliet. I have a pic of a similar Berliet truck with much more coincidences than a Renault truck. But I cannot ID this truck. The Berliet truck family is too complicated for me. What do You think?

Best regards

Bert

Hi Bert
I would have to say you are right. Where the cowl meets the cab and the divided windshield are a much better match. Well done.

Berliet has in the thirties this style of bonnet on his luxury cars like the 944 and VDRG aso
not even 1 picture in my archive for a truck with that style of bonnet
thank you very much for this ID
