Re: Vehicle identity requests
Thanks Bert for the extra information. Not that easy to find. Here poorer quality image perhaps someone can ID bike type for me.
Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi fliegerhorst,
it is difficult to ID this motorcycle. I think it could be a NSU. Here three pics with NSU motorcycles and the same sidecar made by Steib.
Best regards
Bert

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Thanks again Bert. Always appreciate your high level of effort that goes into answering. The front motor bike a little clearer. Possible Id on this one? NSU aswell the front fork looks very similar to your 3rd photo?
Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi fliegerhorst,
thank You for the kind reply.
To Your next question: I´m rather sure, that it is not a NSU motorcycle, but a Zündapp type K 800. Here a pic out of the book "Von A wie Ardie bis Z wie Zündapp" by Horst Hinrichsen.
Best regards
Bert

Re: Vehicle identity requests
is this a Albion BY 1 maybe ?
Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Dirk,
This one came up in December 2019. It is an Albion BY3 Trestle and sliding bay lorry. Sorry there is too little visible for me to guess at on the first truck
Cheers,
Kerry.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hello all, iv had a look through the forums and cant find a spot for this questions can someone point me to the right direction or maybe you have the skills to answer the questions. Iv looking to find the difference between 3.7cm flak 18, 36, 37. I see it talks about the sight difference but at least the resources I read are very vague in stating identification differences. in looking for visual differences Iv noticed a base mount difference in one photo to be towed via dual carriage versus 1 axle sd. ah. 52 but little else. Can anyone point me to the right forum or have more info on this.
Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi fliegerhorst,
normally the right place for this question os the forum about "Fortifications, artillery & rockets. I don´t have the skills to tell You the differences between 3.7cm flak 18, 36 and 37. I´m absolutely no expert in guns. Sorry. But I think I have some good pics of these AA guns.
First pics of the 3.7cm Flak 18 (sources of the pics: 1 - 3: "Die leichte und mittlere Flak" by Werner Müller; pic 4: "Die deutschen Geschütze 1939 - 1945" by F. M. von Senger und Etterlin.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
And now pics of the 3.7cm Flak 36 (sources of the pics: pic 1: "Die deutschen Geschütze 1939 - 1945" by F. M. von Senger und Etterlin; pic 2 - 5: "Die leichte und mittlere Flak" by Werner Müller).
In 1937 the 3.7cm Flak 3 was introduced. The only difference: the sight. So the Flakvisier 36 was replaced by the Flakvisier 37, partly later by Flakvisier 40).
Best regards
Bert

Re: Vehicle identity requests
I think some kind of a Ford but this picture is in a very bad condition, so it is not posible to give a correct indentification.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
I agree with Bert that it looks like a 3 ton Ford
but what bothers me is the front wheels look like they may have 6 holes, which is very un-Ford like. Could be just the photo though.Cheers,
Max
