Hello von Thomas,
The vehicle is a captured Soviet "aerosani", or aerosled being used by the German police. These were also used by Finnish forces during the Winter War. It is most likely a model NKL-16, but further research may firm this up.
Regards,
Kerry.

Thanks, von Thoma, for that great photo and thanks Kerry for the ID. Here is another view of a similar type from the front:

Hi Kerry, hi von Thomas, hi Max,

I´m sorry, but I do not agree with You, Kerry. That´s not a captured Soviet "aerosani" Schneemobil. It is a German Motorschlitten, produced by the company "Henschel" and this vehicle got the designation "Max Henschel". But the Germans copied some parts of the construction of the Soviet model NKL-16/37 and fit the captured Soviet aircraft engine type M-11.
Here some technical details:

weight: 1350 - 1450 kg
aircraft engine type M-11 G with 110 hp
diameter of the propeller: 2,40 m
maximum speed: 50 km/h
tank capacity: 140 l
pay load: 400 kg

Here a pic of the cabin of such a Motorschlitten with the following details:
Eigengewicht (net weight) 1050 kg
Nutzlast (pay load) 400 kg
Gesamtgewicht (laden weight) 1450 kg
Achsdruck (axle pressure) 182 kg

Best regards

Bert

Hi Bert,
Thank you for the correction, somewhat similar, but I am sure that you are right.
Cheers,
Kerry.

Hi Berk,
Thanks for that information. I have this one labelled NKS-6. Is that a valid designation?

Hi Max,

a nice pic, thanks for posting. But I don´t think, that NKS-6 is a valid designation. First it is also a German "Max Henschel", second the Soviet designation for the aerosleds was NKL. Here a pic of the aerosled NKL-6. Source of the pic: https://wwii.space/aerosani-sssr/

Best regards

Bert

Hi Max,

You are right. It is a captured Soviet NKL 16-37. Here another pic of this vehicle.

Best regards
