Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Sturm 78,
after comparing pics of both types I would say the truck on Your pic is a L 1500.
Best regards
Bert

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Sturm 78,
a very good question! I think it is not the type 3 LR 443 with a Diesel engine, but the type 3 LV 443 with a petrol engine, because there is not the word "Diesel" on the front of the hood like on the pic here.
Best regards
Bert

Re: Vehicle identity requests
As for the armoured car of post 12293, see here:
http://calameo.download/002116163bfa7f0f1df7d
It is a Panhard AMD 35, heavily modified by the Germans.
The picture was taken in Orleans, in 1944.

Hi uncle,
that could be a Skoda 6STP6. The Germans used such vehicles for the recovery. Here a pic of such a truck.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi uncle,
sorry, I forgot to give an answer to Your before last question.
I´m sure, that You are right. It is a Bernard truck. I think it could be the type H 8.53.
"H" stand for a gasoline engine, "8" for the cylinders and "53" for wheel base of 5,30m.
Unfortunatyl I don´t have a pic of this truck, only of a bus and a van (source: "Camions Bernard - Segneurs de la route" by Gilbert Lecat).
Best regards
Bert
