I think you're right. Compare it to this Latil M2TL6 from https://18daagseveldtocht.be/artillerie ... rtillerie/.
Thanks, Max...
I think that in the image there are 2 different models of tractors....

Hi Sturm,
Of course you are right. But so far I haven't been able to positively ID the model of second one in. IMO It's most definitely Latil, it has the family resemblance and the Latil badge is visible, similar to here:

Hi AugustDieter,

excuse me, please, for my late reply. Sorry, I don´t agree with You that the tractor on the pic ArmchairSamurai posted 05 Sept was built by Füchsl in Dingolfing. On the contrary: the tractor was built by Alkett and the trailer was built by Füchsl.
Here the source:

Hi Sturm,
I think it is a Mercedes-Benz Stuttgart 260. Happy to be proven wrong, but it seems to have all of the identifying features.
Those radiator covers really do not help!
Cheers,
Kerry.

Hi Sturm and Kerry,
Good question since they look very similar. I agree with you Kerry that it is a Stuttgart 260. Compare below that the leading edge of the front wings are more "curvy" on the 260 and not as sharp as the W 11 and that the bonnet louvers are higher up. A couple of other details which may or may not be pertinent is that the W 11 generally (but not always) has hub caps and a temp gauge rather than a radiator cap.

Ummmhhhh....perhaps you are right but I have never seen a MB Type 260 in Kfz.15 configuration....while the Wanderer W11 is common as Kfz.15... :?

Hi Sturm,
That may be so, but it doesn't alter the position of the bonnet louvers, which to me are positioned too high and too far forward for a W 11 10/50 PS.

Hello Max and Sturm,
I still lean towards the M-B. The high cut wings and the position of the louvres are good points. There is also the fact that the headlight bar is bolted directly to the wings on the M-B, but the headlights on the early, 2.5 litre, W11 were supported by "sprouts" rising from the wing. This is pointing me more towards the Stuttgart. The kfz15 is something of a "curve ball" however. It is a shame that the wheel hubs cannot be seen, they could well have been helpful.
Cheers,
Kerry.

Hi Sturm,
That would be my best guess until someone posts a photo of a Wanderer W 11 with similar bonnet louvers.
In any case thanks for posting these "head scratchers". They're rather fun.
Cheers,
Max
