HI there,

1 looks to me like a Gaz AA, very Russian looking location
2 is a Magirus M206 (the position of the spare wheel confirms this)
3 is a Mercedes 3Ga as you say.

Cheers

Who built this Panzer II Ausf a or b with the Crane in the turret area and was it a one-off?

Does anyone have large format pictures of these thumbnail photos?

thanks,
-Tony

Hi Stevem

I agree with You in pic 1 and 3, but I think on pic 2 is a Büssing-NAG G 31 with the same position of the spare wheel, but wheels with two holes (Magirus has six holes).

Hi guys,

Bill and I had a try at this a few years ago, but to no final answer... it looked like some sort of British utility, but nothing seemed to match. Just wondering if anyone has an idea? Sorry for the quality of the shot...

Cheers
Steve

Hello all,
a friend of mine took this picture today on the A14 near Kettering (between Leicester and Cambridge)and asked me which vehicle it was.
Image

My first guess would be that it's a Sd.Kfz 6 but prime movers aren't my main point of interest so hopefully some experts here would help me.
Also ,what on earth was this prime mover doing on a truck in the A14?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Hi all,

can anybody ID this vehicle. It´s not easy from the back, I know. But I think it could be a captured American one. Thanks in advance.

Sean, the truck looks to me Breda 51.
So far so good, can somebody identify for sure this somewhat bizzare "crew coach" I found in the German magazine "Der Adler", No. 17 for 1942. The article is on West Africa so most probably the picture was taken there.

Looks Renault to me but could be also Ford...
TIA!
