Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hallo Sturm:
Interesting vehicle the first one. I am reasonably sure it is French but two hours of research have come up with no answer. It looks like the makers name is on the lower part of the radiator mask and it looks like either two words or one long one. I looked on Holger's site and also Vauvillier's book but could not come up with a match.
The second vehicle is to me a Benz L3000 or so based on the honeycomb design of the radiator mask and the arrangement of the engine hood cooling louvers and the shape of the windscreen.

Hello sturm,Bill,all
Bill. I think you are wrong with the second pic
Like my opinion its my favourite a Borgward B3000 4x2
Please look at the form of the windscreen, the doors, the mudguards and the hooks in the bumper.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Sturm, hi Bill,
the first vehicle is really interesting. I couldn´t find this type, yet. But I will go on.
To the second truck, Henning is right, it is a "bloody" Borgward B 3000 S.
Regards
Bert

Re: Vehicle identity requests
My bad on the Borgward/Mercedes pick, although there are a fair number of similarities based on a frontal view with the radiator mask "masked".
I hope someone can ID the top photo, I now have more or less three hours in that one.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi all,
The first vehicle looks like the Latil, maybe H2..., as it appears on the lower part of the radiator mask written - Huile Lourdes. It should be diesel, but can be seen wood gasgenerator?

Saulius

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hello all
I found this interessting offer!
I know ,its a Henschel G33 and a Bilstein crane, but is this combination a real ? used like a standart wrecker in the WH?
or is it "only" a vision of a modern modelmaker?
Is there more Informations/pic?
best regards
Henning

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi, can someone please help me identify where this vehicle was assigned by the license plate number WL 258 111? Would this be a Luftwaffe unit ambulance? Thanks so much in advance for any help. ~Cammie

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Cammie:
Your vehicle is a beute (captured or impressed) French Renault, either an AGC or AGK, most likely the first one.
I have attached two photos, one of each vehicle.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Sturm 78,
to Your first pic: I think it is a MAN type Z 1 for three tons. On the chassis between the two axes You can see the letters M A N.
To the second pic: I agree with You according to the second pic: Krupp L 3 H 163 It is special variant of a communication unit for the transport of cable rolls and the soldiers of this unit. Sorry, I don´t know the number of this special vehicle.
Regards
Bert
