Very interesting and unusual Jaguar SS indeed. Any ideas on the coachbuilder anyone?

Hi all,
Can somebody ID this truck of Kfz Inst Kp 168? For more fun it is with custom cab and the grille is totally obscured by that winter jacket, but it still looks American to me.
TIA!

Dirk
I think you are fairly close but the mystery truck lacks the central stamping on the radiator shell top, the headlights mounts are different in shape and it seems the bonnet sides aren't exactly the same.
Thanks for the effort anyway!
Cheers!

Thanks Uncle, it is much better so.uncle wrote:Indiana
Let it be Indiana then. Although the bumper is different but they were of many shapes it seems. But the bonnet sides aren't original, though. However, the only sure ID point is the longitudinal stamping above the bonnet sides, and it is more than enough. It is Indiana, fixed.
Cheers!

Dirk,
Thank you so much for your rapid id. I wonder where that piece of exotic machinery was sourced?
Thanks again,
Kerry.

Most probably it was assembled on original US chassis in GM Continental in Antwerp, Belgium. Indeed, it might have been captured in the Netherlands too, the factory served the whole region.
Just my guess, of course.
Cheers!
