Hi Kerry,

I'd say Sd. Kfz. 7/1 or 7/2; Can't tell the difference since it's packing no Flak.

Hi Markus,

Thank you, I thought that the 'basket" sides were familiar, but the lack of a gun created the doubt over function.

Best regards,

Kerry.

Hi all,

here a postcard of the Wehrmacht with a strange truck at the front. I think it is a fake of the rear part. But the front part is o.k. Can someone say which type of truck is the basis for this fake? Thanks in advance.

Hello all,

Can anyone help me with the id of this photo:
-It is a Panzer II with the number 'III' - i know I01 should be the 1st Bat. Commander; but what does 'III' mean then?
-on the right side of the superstructure a very long box is visible. It is placed at an angle and it has a german cross, so it must be something permanent.
-also on the rear deck branches for camo are placed - these are slightly hanging over the long angled box.
These branches cover something up that is quite large - ladungsleger?

Image

On the same photograph a Befehlspanzer I is visible which has a periscope (like Panzer 38) modification (red circle) - as far as i can research this must be a modified befehlspanzer I to radio control a Minenraum BI/BII Borgward.

Image

-it seems to have a flat oval circle with an 'S' or snake or something in it - can anyone identify this unit?

Maybe the Panzer II has something to do with radio control / Borgwards since both panzers are on the same picture?

regards,

Jarno Boer

Hi Bert,

Feels like I'm stuck in a rut but the base vehicle for the retouch looks like a bloody Hansa-Lloyd Merkur to me.

Jarno, that BefPz I is marked as belonging to a Funklenk unit, used for mine clearing but I can't tell you which one exactly. Their tactical sign being the Panzer rhomboid and the circle.

Hi glushenko,
I think it is a Renault, Vivaquatre perhaps, although the front bumper looks wrong.
