Re: Vehicle identity requests
This one has probably already been identified but I could not find it here, so I'll give it a try.
What is this ugly thing? It sort of looks like an electric powered truck but it seems too large and maybe even off road capable.
Seems to be German. Any ideas?

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Thanks very much Markus. That's the one.
Seemed to be very popular with the Reichsbahn.
Just found that apparently only one was made. (edit)

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Agree with Bill. As the T 92 was a 6x4 and the T 93 is a 6x6, the T 93 has the larger front axle, clearly seen in the centre section of its front wheels.Bill Murray wrote:My, what a busy last couple of days here on the vehicles threads and also at home with perfect Spring weather which means my wife is after me with a vengeance
Regarding the Kerry motor question...
I respectfully suggest the vehicle is a Tatra T92.
I base this on the two photos below, showing a T92 and a T93 where you can clearly see that the T92 has a slightly deeper set of louvers in the side of the engine hood and have more openings than the T93.
Many thanks to Ilian for finding a good photo of the T92/93 motor, something I failed to find and which I was going to use as a reason for selecting a Tatra vehicle also.

Hi Max,
that could be an OM type 3 BOD 5-tonner, built from 1932. Here a drawing with a front view (source: http://www.network54.com/Forum).
Best regards
Bert

Hi Bert,
I completely agree with you, it couldn't be else.
I hope our ID (you were the first, though) will make Max happy.
Cheers!

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Excuse me for off-topic, but this photo was taken in the city of Zadar in Croatia. At the time when photo was taken, the city was called Zara and it was part of Italy.Maxschnauzer wrote:The Type/Model of this OM?
The gates behind the truck, with winged lion of St. Mark, are Porta terraferma (Kopnena vrata) designed by Michele Sanmicheli.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Another slightly off topic question, and I apologize too.
This said to be a Dutch combination under test in 1938/39. I am fairly sure the truck is British in origin but I have not yet identified it.
The gun is said to be a Hotchkiss.
Any ideas?

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hello Bert and ilfil,
Thanks much for your ID and additional information on the OM 3 BOD. Another question: I had this photo in my files (probably posted by one of you guys at some time) which looks similar but has a different cab. I have it as a Type BUD. Was there also a BUD or did I just incorectly label this one?
