Hi Sturm 78,
You are right. It is the type L 3000. Here a pic for comparing out of the book "Mercedes PKW und LKW 1935 - 1945" by Dr. Hans-Georg Mayer-Stein.
Best regards
Bert

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hello all,
Please can somebody help me with these two? I know that very few contributors like the "rear-end" views, but I hope that there is enough there to id.
Many thanks,
Kerry.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hello again,
Just a quickie, I am sure that this is a Ford 917 or such. My question is, can anybody explain the headlight being faired into the wing? Perhaps a quirk of the bodywork manufacturer?
Thanks again,
Kerry.

Hi Kerry:
Regarding the passenger cars, I make them a 1936 Buick and a 1938 Hudson per the photos. Still pondering the Ford.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Kerry:
Glad I could help.
Funny you should ask "is all well with you " today.
With little editorial comment, suffice to say I suffered another fall/collapse or whatever at 0100 hrs Wednesday. Had to call an ambulance and finally got out of the hospital 8 hours later, arriving home to a quick breakfast and an attempt to sleep a bit. Photo Below.
Interesting, an earlier fall in the same bathroom in early March left me for a few months with my "Gorbachev Birthmark" sort of scar which is now gone.
No Hospital visit that time. Photo Below.
The miracle is that today, Friday Afternoon, after 2 more Doctor visits (Seems to be a very low Sodium Count which leads to dizziness etc.)
I am able to quickly ID 2 of your photos. Also, after 2 glasses of wine!!!.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Bill,
That is one wicked cut, you must have had a huge headache! I hope the sawbones are able to sort out the dizziness, at least without the wine. As a fairly long-term resident in France I can, however, vouch for the restorative properties of a glass or two.
Take care, from a selfish point of view I,we all, need your expertise.
All the best,
Kerry.
