Hello John,
I believe that the vehicle is Italian a very battered SPA TL37 artillery tractor.
Regards,
Kerry.

Thanks for that, Kerry.

It is indeed very battered...

Would anybody care to try and ID this lorry? The photograph was taken at Antwerp circa 1945.

The lorry's front axle has been torn off, and is on the ground beneath it. All the wheels (and, more usefully, the tyres) have been salvaged.

John.

Hi John,

I think that this truck is a cross-country 6-wheel truck. For me it is a Mercedes-Benz type LG 3000. The following things do fit: the bumper, the spare wheel in the front beside the bonnet, the open standard driver’s cab (Einheitsführerhaus) of the Wehrmacht.

Best regards

Bert

Hi Bert
They look like either 125 or 130 series trucks. I believed they differed in the specific engines installed.

Hi Bert,
Right, externally those Volvos are the same and without seeing the engine data plate it is impossible to say which model(s) they are.
If the pic was taken after 1944 they could be also LV 140 model.
Cheers!

Hi Sturm 78,

the Mercedes-Benz on Your pic is for me the type L 2500. Here two copies out of the book "Autotypenbuch. Typentafeln der Deutschen Kraftfahrzeugindustrie 1938".

Best regards

Bert

Hi photo-war,

I will try to ID these motorcycles.
The first is a Zündapp, but I´m not quite sure. I think it is the type K 500.
The second is a BMW R 12.
The third is a Zündapp DB 200.

Regards

Bert

Thanks for your images, Bert. I think you are right. The only external difference that I can see is the shape of the front fenders....

Here, another image from Ebay. Can anyone identify this rare truck ?? :? French ???
