Regards
For several months, I've been seaching for whereabouts of those captured German tanks in Japan. I've searched in Japanese and Chinese search engines but couldn't find any meaningful data yet.
It seems that those tanks are not at Yasukuni shrine in Japan. Maybe they might have been to other places.
There is a possibility that Japan was so needy for armored vehicles at the final stage of the Pacific War that the Japanese guys sent those German tanks to the front.
Anybody who can give information on whereabouts of those German tanks will be appreciated.

Pz-1 was used as a target of shooting test.

German Tank Captured by Japanese in Sino-Japanese War
One of the two Panzers captured in China was paraded on a street of Tokyo in January 1939. You can see "Blue Sky with a White Sun" mark of the Republic of China on the front side of the tank.

According to this article, NHK recently broadcasted a footage in which the tank in question is paraded on a Tokyo street on January 8, 1939.

Re: German Tank Captured by Japanese in Sino-Japanese War
Out of all of the photos and illustrations of the Chinese Panzer 1A's that I have seen so far the picture of the captured Chinese Panzer 1A posted by Kim Sung is the only one that shows the KMT sunburst on the glais.
Does anyone know if this is the only Panzer 1A that had this the sunburst marking on the glais ?
Does anyone know if there is a reaon why not all the Panzer 1A's have the sunburst on the glais ?
Thanks.
