What are the login details for the server now?

Many thanks for the continued service!
The enemy had superiority in numbers, his tanks were more heavily armoured, they had larger calibre guns with nearly twice the effective range of ours, and their telescopes were superior. 5 RTR 19/11/41

Apologies, I am new to using this amazing resource. I have been able to successfully connect and download some materials a few times, but more often than not I get this message:

"Timeout detected. (control connection)
Connection failed."

Using WinSCP. Anyone know if I might have some settings wrong?

And a big thanks to Mr. Calvin!

@ acdavis,
Just go back several pages and you can read about your"problem". It was explained several times already.

Sorry, I did go back through messages here to 2018 and didn't see anything directly related to above, but might have missed it. Are you saying that it is simply too many users connected, as I received a separate message indicating that on one attempt to connect? Thanks.

Too many user try to connect to John's server at the same time. That is the reason, why we get that message. On some days I can't get on it at all.
Sometimes you need a little luck. There is nothing wrong with your setting.
On Sept.9th, John wrote "Late in the evening U.S. EST is the best time to try to connect."
Today I have tried also for hours to get into it. You are not the only one with that problem.

So there does not exist any guides for these as for nara rolls?
Yes, there are guides. I have them. Bought from the Bundesarchiv, and on paper. Way too much to scan.
