Hello,

I'm looking for T-78 Roll 417.

If anybody knows where to find it, I'd be glad about any pointers.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks!

Unfortunately that file seems to be incomplete, missing H1/210, H1/211 and part of H1/212.

Right, these do appear to be missing.

I'd be very interested in those 3 folders too, should anyone have them.

I have updated the list of rolls made digital. No file this semester, but the search engine on sturmpanzer.com will be updated soon.

What's new in the first half of 2021?

=> ca. 310 new entries vs. end 2020 (+5%).
This is a steady improvement, in spite of a NARA still closed down.

Almost all of the additional rolls are the equivalent files from Bundesarchiv, available in much better quality than microfilms. As a matter of fact, if BAMA keeps digitizing at the current pace, NARA rolls will soon be obsolete. Everyone will move to the nice color copies offered by the Germans.

=> Total makes more ca. 5,850 rolls. Series with more than 50% available rolls are T311, T314, T315, T1021, now joined by T501 and T313

=> Per my count, more than 94% of the rolls are available on websites or by asking around (that's +1pt vs. 6 months ago). The remaining 6% of rolls are only available for a fee or are held by people who are still shy of sharing. Some of such rolls popped up for free at BAMA so it's time these people realize they don't own a treasure anymore :)

I found a list named "Digitalisierungen in der Abteilung Militärarchiv, Stand Juli 2020". Is that the newest from Freiburg?

Hello everyone,

I am Pierre from France, I am a history teacher and I am writing a thesis at the Université de Strasbourg about the subcamp Markirch in Alsace. It was one of the 50 KL-Natzweiler subamps. It existed between march and september 1944. I am searching informations about 3 SS who worked in the subcamp.
- The first Kommandoführer was Fritsch or Fritsche (he stayed 1 month), and I don't know his first name. I consulted the A3343 German SSO Personal files of SS Officers roll 226 but I found nothing. Does anybody has the roll 225 ?
- Then I would like to read the files of the second Kommandoführer between april and september 1944, Eugen Wurth. That's why I would like to know if somebody has the roll 016C.
- Finally, I would like to know more about the SS Bauleiter, director of the project A9, Josef Losacker. Does anybody has the roll 278A ?

What's more, I would like to know if someone has the rolls concerning the KL-Natzweiler, in the serie T175. The rolls concerned are the 212, 213, 215 ,216, 217, 218, 219.

Thank you so much for your help.

Pierre

Hello Pierre,

Unfortunately,
these SSO rolls(#225, #016C, #278A) are available only in NARA and Berlin.

Hi,

first of all, thanks to all your effort to help others researching.

For the book I'm writing at the moment I'm searching for the Roll
T315 287
It appears in the Mori List.
Maybe someone can give me a hint where to find it....

Greetings to all!

I wanted to ask if anyone of those present has a roll T314 R54?
It is freely available, but unfortunately in very poor quality. I would like to get it in a decent resolution.

Thank you for the attention!

In case the not-so-smart person who once downsized it reads that...
