Thanks for the tip. I will try NormCap.

I agree about Deepl. I also find it better than Google translate.

The "double CTRL+C" function is also very handy. Doing CTRL+C twice directly inserts text into Deepl. Simple feature, but so convenient.

Hallo all,
I'm looking for rolls concerning Festung-Brigade Kreta: correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks inside T733 R9
Am I correct?
Does anyone has this to share-sell?
Many thanks in advance
Marco

Isn't T733 the NARA catalog, instead of actual rolls?

All catalogs are on sturmpanzer.com.

Use the legacy catalog until the new one is sorted out?
https://legacy.catalog.archives.gov/

I didn't detect any significant differences between the two catalogs for download speeds this week, but the legacy catalog has a fully working OCR search engine while the new one is clearly not yet capturing all the files/reels it should be with its search engine.

How exactly is rolls done in for example https://catalog.archives.gov/?

If I want to find a roll for the 61 Infantry Division and know from a website that divisions are T-315 and that the roll I want is 1022, do I in the search box on the Catalog Archives website search for "T-315 1020" or is it "T315 r1020" or "T-315 roll 1020" or something else?

There are so many results so if I write the wrong combinations of numbers and letters I'd probably go through all pages and find nothing.

I wish the archives could have been organised a bit better to make it easier to search.

Firstly, the T-series and reel has to be uploaded for the search to yield a hit. T315 is not yet uploaded.

But, the catalogs, new and legacy, do work well if the series is uploaded, one can search for T77 1066 (as an example), and this will be at the top of the results, without searching within RG 242 or within T77, just on a general search.

Note that the catalog clearly uses T77, T81 etc and not T-77, the latter yields misleading results, searching for 77 and 1066 and T separately.
