Thanks to Jeff for the time and effort (not to mention cost involved). I downloaded one but couldn't open the file, is there any special programme needed to open them?

I packed all files as .rar files. Without pass word protection. The only problem I can think off is if there are multiple parts then they should all be in the same folder. Which roll number so I can check.

I test one file and WinRar had no problems with it.

Might need to download the free .rar extractor software?

T315 R992 ((all))
T315 R994 ((all))
thats not not correct.
It is the 58.Inf.Div.

Thanks, if there are any other mistakes please post them. I plan on rewritting the post and maybe putting up some more material (22.Pz.Div. among others) but it will take some time. Unfortunately, I can't edit the old posts.

WOW, thank you so much Jeff! I am researching Unternehmen Wintergewitter, and then I suddenly stumbled across the whole collection of Heeresgruppe Don documents + part of the Panzerarmeeoberkommando 4 documents here. Fantastic!

Now I can concentrate more or less on the lower headquarters involved, when I'll go to BA-MA next year...

Best regards,

I'll make a repost during the 1st week of August, correcting most of the mistakes with the first: the missing links, links that don't work (250.Inf.Div.) and misslabeled links (51.Inf.Div. should be 58.Inf.Div.). A few new rolls should be posted.

If you are interested in rolls not on the list, it is better to PM me. It is also a good idea to say, which units the rolls are associated with and why you are interested in them - writing a book, school project or whatever. My collection is focused on Army Group South June 1941 - May 1942 and subordinate units. I do know others that have some material and they can be helpful sometimes.

Jeff,

Just wanted to ask, will you be adding any Gliederung for May 1944 onwards for Army Divs? T78 R409 is also available on Sturmpanzer and includes details of Luftwaffe Field Divs and SS Divs. I'd be interested to see the info for Army Divs for the same period so was wondering if that may be in the pipeline.

And likewise, it's a great service providing this info for folks who can't access the once sacred archives themselves, and I'm sure it wasn't cheap for you given my own limited researching experience.

Don't know much about the T78 rolls. Most of the material made available was given to me my other people. My personal material, which I might be able to answer questions about, can only be released slowly (5 - 10 rolls a year). I have seen Kriegsgliederungen for units after May 1944 but they are spread out among the other rolls (T311 - T315). Ask Leo Niehorster, he can certainly give you a better answer about post-May 1944 Kriegsgliederungen.

There are no T78 rolls in the pipeline just now. If everything goes according to plan there will be about 30+ rolls until next summer and then another big batch of rolls.
