I've tried using several FTP clients, all of which works fine with all other FTP sites. I've tried disabling my firewall with no difference.

Please use https://ftptest.net/ and send me the results as well as your IP address. [email protected]

Host: jccalvin.ddns.net
Port: 21
User Name: FTP-User-1
Password: SKNVr8du
Protocol: Plain FTP (insecure)

If the FTP test results in

"Your server is working and assorted routers/firewalls have been correctly configured for plain basic FTP as performed by this test. However there have been warnings about compatibility issues, not all users will be able to use your server.",

then the problem is on the client side not the server. Compatibility issues refer to Ipv4 and Ipv6 compatibility.

Today, server of John is Ok, but the great, big, mega issue is the only compatibility with ip address which use Ipv6 protocol, many of us connect to internet with old but fully compatible Ipv4 protocol. Probably the upgrade of the service server have excluding Ipv4 protocol.

My FTP server supports Ipv4 not Ipv6.

hallo,
I have no problems with downloads. Speed is like before, no Change at all. Maybe with more users the Speed will drop.
Thanks for all the work.

Hi:

I have just received and published a document concerning the 86.ID. It was written by survivors of the Division on
the occasion of General der Infanterie Joachim Witthöft's 75th birthday. (23.09.1962)

Hallo John,
The number of R-78 R-639 should be renamed to T-78 xxxxxx . This is what the first page of the document shows.

Thank you very much.

Hi,
This is T78 R639 - Gen.d.Pi.u.Fest.
Several frames are damaged by formatting in MSO PM, is it possible to restore them?
Regards
Andrey

Well, has anyone suggestions what to change in ones settings to be able to get access to the FTP? I have IPv6 and really don't understand how to get back to the IPv4 settings.

If your physical internet connection is an older one, it will support both IPv4 and IPv6. You can see it in the configuration of your provider box. In my Fritzbox I can activate/deactivate IPv6. After activation my box connects with both versions, and switches automatically between IPv6 or IPv4 .If your internet connection is a newer one, so it is possible that it´s only IPv6. It is switched on provider side I think. Please ask your provider.

Hi:

Today I published 698 Russian maps in scale 1:84000 on my FTP server. The maps are in the Miscellaneous or Diverse maps section. I have Russian maps in the scales of 1:25000, 1:50000, and 1:100000 on my web site www.wwii-photos-maps.com. Hopefully these 1:84000 maps will cover some areas missed in the other maps.

Regards,

John

Hi:

Today I published T-313 R-369.

Please check the "max connections" setting in your FTP software. The default is usually 2. Please set it for 1. Besides being a problem for my logs it also blocks others who are trying to login. Thank you for your consideration.

Regards,

John
