I have finally given up trying to make the anonymous server work. My logs fill up with people attempting to improperly login. I will change over to a system that requires your email as Login ID and a unique password I will supply. The old (anonymous) server system will stop working on 17-Aug-2018. Please email with your request for login information using the email you will use to login email As always all the files are FREE. My email address remains the same ([email protected]).

I may be too dumb to understand the concept of FTP serves, but something must have gone wrong. Yesterday, I tried my new password, but it only worked a single time. The next time, my access was denied because the program said that only one connection per IP was allowed (I don't remember the exact wording). Of course, this is just the thing John was complaining about in his latest posts. I didn't understand this message because when I was transferring data, there was always only one file transferred at any given time (the one marked as "aktiv" in the WISE FTP that I am using). So I tried to change my IP and regain access, but this didn't work either. At long last, I began experimenting around and found the following menu:

And yes, there was indeed a "3" in the circled box, which I don't understand. I never witnessed the simultaneous transfer of several files, so I always thought my server settings were correct. Therefore, I believed that the transferring server (John's) was automatically limiting downloads to one at a time. In any case, of course I changed the box to "1", but I was not able to regain access since then. Currently, I get the message "530 Login or password incorrect".

Same situation here, askoop. Log in did work only once asked John yesterday for help. Response was only "no anonymous log in´s anymore, ask for log-in details".
Even tough he sent me them a day earlier and I did use them during my attempts. Neither did I use more than the allowed transfer.
