I don't doubt you but the intro to the roll says "These rolls contain part of a larger collection of German military manuals...". After that "collection of German Army, Air Force, Navy, SS Field and Technical Manuals 1910-1945". Got me?
This is not intro to the roll, this is intro to the roll_s_ - all rolls of T-283 series, which indeed consists mostly of various manuals. The intro to the roll T-283 R-123 goes on the next page, and says it consists of 4 volumes of war TOEs.

John,

Why don't you reply to e-mails? I have sent you 3 e-mails, but received no answer.

John~

As you know, I only recently obtained a password and promptly screwed up, inadvertently logging in more than once simultaneously as well as downloading more than the permitted two rolls per day. I'm an absolute neophyte and dunderhead (to put it kindly) with respect to FTP and how to use it. I'm not sure if you've cancelled my log-in credentials or if they simply stopped working. In any case, I need to study up on this so as not to make the same mistakes. I'm sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused with my clumsiness.

Thank you for making these incredibly valuable resources available to us.

Sincerely,
~ Mike

And now I'm reading previous posts here that mention automatic blocking, so I guess that answers my question.

John,

I've emailed you to request a new password as my current one is now dead, but haven't received a response.
Are you able to issue new passwords?

Thanks in advance for your response.

I get the same, Piet, only in English.

John, is there a way to rectify this? I'm sure I speak for everyone in this thread when I say we're grateful for this service you've offered. This is a veritable "Holy Grail" for those of us researchers whose passion for research is limited only by our inability to purchase all of these microfilm rolls.

That said, I hope you can respond to our queries.

With many thanks in advance,
~ Mike

Hello

did u use STRG+C and STRG+V for the email adress/password?

Check please, if there are any blank characters at the begin or at the end of the email adress/password.

@Piet Duits,
I don't know what Programm you use to log in, just download WinSCP for free, enter host name, set port number to 21, enter your user name which you used to apply for your password, enter the password, log in and you are ready to go.
I use this program for years and have no problems at all.

good luck

Radar, there's nothing wrong with the software I use. If it was, I would not be able to have downloaded before too. All of a sudden, while downloading, i first got a error code 550 (access denied) which eventually changed into error code 530. There's nothing wrong with my password either.
