B162/3232 and 3233 are references of the Bundesarchiv Ludwigsburg.

I have a family picture of a Max Geisler in SIPO Officer Uniform taken in France 1940. This is not the SS uniform, but a police uniform. The inscription on the back says, translated from German 'war year 1940, France'. Max Geisler was born 1901 in Schneidemuehl.
Does anyone have any information on the man?

I do not know anything about Max Geisler but if he was wearing "a police uniform" maybe he was with the Geheime Feldpolizei. In 1939 and 1940 many members of the Gestapo and Kriminalpolizei were called up to the GFP.
