NARA rolls made digital - updated list

Postby Mori » 27 Dec 2017 22:04

Dear all,

I have updated the Mori list: download link

What's new?

=> now ca. 4850 rolls.

=> ca. 250 more than last summer. All in all, that's more than 500 new rolls this year (70 of which had been there for a long time, but were missing from this list: T1022 on U-Boats). Given this speed, I let you check how many years it'll take until all is made digital...

=> 150 incomplete rolls. This stays stable, meaning the "new" rolls are almost always complete

=> 90% of the list is available for free if you ask around; 10% against payment. Again, this is stable: 90% of the new entries are also available through trade.

Thanks for the updated list Mori. Appreciate all the work you put into this.

And a question to all our readers: does anyone happen to have a copy of T314 R1004 (XXXXIII.A.K. in 1940-41)? It's not a priority roll for me, but it may hold some very useful background information.

(PS: One minor thing, T314 R1006 to 1014 are listed as XXXXII.A.K. but I think those are actually XXXXIII.A.K.)

Please PM me if you can help with the following rolls:
T-1022/2648
T-1022/2653
T-1022/2654
T-1022/2664
T-1022/2684

Thanks for pointing it. This "unit" field in my file is not the most reliable.
