Late to the party so please forgive me if this is redundant.
You can take quite good photos of a computer screen with your up-to-date cell phone.

Re: NARA rolls made digital
Some real momentum with digitising RG 242 over at NARA; they have added T77 OKW
https://catalog.archives.gov/search?q=* ... Sort%20asc
There are 1908 'hits' within T77, versus 1687 reels, so with split reels the collection does not look 100% finished, however searches for keywords for several staffs under the OKW umbrella, like Wirtschaftsstab and Abwehr, got 600+ hits, so many runs of reels are evidently complete.
Also... T354!
https://catalog.archives.gov/search?q=* ... Sort%20asc
799 reels vs 1147 hits within T354, again split reels
This is only a few weeks after T84 was uploaded, so the uploading of digitised microfilms has snowballed considerably. Even if T77 and T354 aren't complete, NARA added over 3,000 half-reels and full reels in just this one upload.

Incredible, and just great!
There will also be collateral damage on the resellers of NARA rolls: time to shift focus to US documents...

The T77 uploads are not downloadable as reel or half-reel PDFs, but are uploaded like T178. T354 seems to have the PDF 'documents' below the display so can be more easily downloaded.

Re: NARA rolls made digital
The momentum with the NARA uploads is really impressive. I was probably checking the NARA catalog every 2-3 weeks until I noticed the T84 uploads on July 18, since then it's been a couple of times a week out of curiosity, and just over a month later, they uploaded two much larger serials - T354 is hundreds of reels longer than T84 or T501, and T77 even bigger still. I was pessimistically expecting a smaller series much later in the year, whereas this suggests we can expect several more T-series before the end of 2022. Probably, they will alternate or split the uploads between military and SS/civilian records, if the current pattern holds. T78 and T175 next?
The free reel sharers will have to adjust as much as the microfilm resellers. There is still a ridiculous amount of reels to go, so there will still be uses for resellers and reel sharers for a number of years to come, but the sharing of NARA reels for free was already undercutting the resellers. Meanwhile, the Bundesarchiv's digitisation has been steadily undercutting all NARA sharing, uploading and reselling, except there are still gaps.
The two efforts are starting to complement each other very nicely.
For example, while Freiburg has uploaded a fair bit of OKW and Abwehr records, it has done almost nothing with the military economics records; but these are very much included in the latest NARA uploads from T77. These reels weren't shared too extensively on the free sites/clouds, and probably weren't in high demand from the resellers. The WiRueAmt collection (RW 19) is very large, so it might be some years before these files are scanned at Freiburg. In the meantime, they're increasingly accessible via NARA.
The NARA search engine delves directly into the files/reels with OCR, so it will retain an enormous utility long after the Bundesarchiv finishes its digitisation of this era, and thankfully the concordances (EAP numbers especially) are still spelled out clearly in both NARA reels and BArch file descriptions on Invenio.
