Hi all,
Just want to inform you about something completely new to me.
In September I want to visit them and I called them to ask if there's place. Yes, there is. So, okay, that's settled.
I also asked if there were new rules etc. that I should know of, since it's been 6 years I went there.
shocking introduction
It is allowed to take pictures of material.

Re: BAMA Freiburg
Thanks for confirming Piet. I think someone already posted about it, but people did not seem to pick up on it which raised some doubts.
Good luck on your trip. Maybe next year for myself.

Ohhh, I don't know whether I'll be able to cope with such shock
A couple of weeks ago, I got a copy of a document from BAMA which obviously was pictures from a personal camera. I did not ask questions...

Almost a year ago I think?
Re: BAMA Freiburg
I'm at the BA-MA at the moment.
All normal Army files (RH) will by all chance be allowed to be photographed by yourself. Personal files (PERS 6/, for example) will not be.
When you get your file, the accompanying paper will either be written in black or read, meaning photographing is or is not permitted, respectively.
This is truly... GREAT!
Cheers,
Sean
