Greetings All,
I need several Russian WW2 photos to illustrate my soon to be released book covering the battle of Stalingrad. I'm having a hard time finding an archive or museum that sells historical Soviet/Russian photos. I know they exist but have been unable to find a link or site.
I'm looking for several Soviet officers that were at Stalingrad. I have the new Valeriy Zamulin book "Forgotten battles of the Kursk Salient" and it has wonderful photos from RGAFKD, whatever that is? and the Stalingrad battle state historical museum....but no links or other info.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Dann

Re: Online Soviet WW2 Photos
Well I found out that RGAFKD is the Russian State Doc & File Archive at Krasnogorsk. I can't find any photos on that site, it's hard to understand and use, but I will keep trying.
