Searching for information on Coastal Artillery officer Major Albert Dressl

Hi

I am searching for any information on a Major Albert John Dressl.

He was in a Coastal Artillery regiment.
After action in Poland, he ended up in the Channel Islands as an officer stationed in Battery 'Mirus' - the largest gun battery in the Islands.

If anyone can give me other websites I can ask on that would be great. Also, how do I go about asking in the German archives about this man? I want to know as much as possible, as I have found a very close relative of his who wants to know any details about him.
