It appears that the Romanian Military Archive (ARHIVELE MILITARE NAŢIONALE ROMÂNE)has joined the internet age and some of their material has been microfilmed.
Has anyone every had dealing with them? Is it possible to order microfilmed material?
My Romanian isn't all that good but I can wade through military documents if I have too. I have been researching operation in Bessarabia 1941 for some time and have good German and Soviet sources but it would really be nice to get more on the Romanian side of things.
Thank for any help you can give, Jeff

Hi Jeff, unfortunately all inquiries have to be done in person over there, it's a very complicated procedure ( read as they just don't give a F )
They do not sell any scanned material as far as I know, all the persons that got stuff from those archives had to go there in person, there are also no paid researchers available...
It's a shame really as there are tons of very interesting materials available at them, documents, photos, maps and so on
