NARA Rolls T084 R13, R14 and R16

Hi,

I´m looking for the above menetioned rolls already in the known sources but with no success. Can maybe someone from my fellow forum members help me out? They´re covering daily Gestapo reports from Vienna. The DÖW does hold them but doesn´t share them but claim that archives do not give out their sources to others.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello,
As far as I know, they are not available digital. You have no choice but to order them from NARA or from a reseller.

About DÖW: few archives circulate their documents (contrary to what libraries do). But many put them online for free.

Hi,

these rolls are, I believe, available at Fachbereichsbibliothek Zeitgeschichte, Uni Wien (Altes AKH) in the collection „Mikroverfilmte Archivalien“. You have to be a member of the university library and order rolls per e-mail in advance; they also have microfilm scanner(s), so you can make digital copies if needed (this used to be free of charge).

Best,

G.

Hello,

thank you both for your input, it´s really apreciated.
Mori, sadly this is by the DÖW not the case. They have those Gestapo reports only partially attached to victim cases but there is no way to know which person has such attachment as there is no index/overview.
Gaius, you are right! I found them there and a whole lot more of NARA files on microfilm. No I only need to find time, to order them and to go to Vienna.
Thanks so much for your help!

Best regards,
Roman

PS.: Attaching an index of their microfilms as it might be useful for others.
