Looking for informations about my Grandfather

#1

Post by Alexz » 30 Sep 2020, 00:46

Hello,

I´m doing research about my Grandfather with help from the german Forum der Wehrmacht.
But right now I´m stuck at searching the Nara Roll T315 R865. Does somebody of you have
any advise where to find this roll ?

Thank you for your Help

Alex

Hi Alex,

I wonder about your request as you do state in that forum that you own that roll already.

Anyway, be careful there and do not think that every response is necessarily correct!
They did link you to another thread there about the unit your GF belonged to. Where I found this post:

The claim that "Mzonow" is "Młochów, Nadarzyn, Polen" is utter nonsense. It´s "Mszczonów" what was meant!

Hi History,

that´s right. At 2019 I downloaded it from the "New Free Nara Roll Thread" but when I recently tried to add the new Informations from the Bundesarchiv to the USB-Stick, I recognized the Stick was broken and all data was lost. Unfortunately the Server/Cloud is down now.

Yesterday I contacted Goslaer Jäger(FdW) because of the Regiment History but he hasn´t answered yet. So I´am still hoping for people who downloaded
the NARA Roll´s from this cloud.

Greetings

Alex
