help
I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO OBTAIN INFORMATION ON MY FATHER WHO WAS IN THE I./FREIW.KORPS DANMARK.
HE RECEIVED THE IRON CROSS 2ND CLASS. ON THE 2/08.1942
HE WAS ALSO WITH THESS TOTENKOPF(RH7A 1351,192)
HE MAY HAVE ATTENDED THE SS-JUNKSCHULE OCT/NOV 1943
SENIUS OLSEN WAS BORN IN AMERICA OF DANISH PARENTS BORN 18/01/1918, WHO THEN RETURNED TO DENMARK IN THE EARLY 1830'S
SEARCHS IN USA AND DENMARK HAVE COME UP BLANK.
THIS HAS STIRED IN INTREST IN THE ROLE FORIGN FORCES IN AND AROUNG GRAZ, WHERE I WAS BORN.

ANY INFORMATION HR HELP PUT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

There are two locations you need to contact:

Bundesarchiv Berlin-Lichterfelde
they have the "SS-Enlisted Men files", consisting mainly of Waffen-SS
men who were not commissioned (I am assuming your father was not
commissioned). Write giving them your father's name and DOB and ask for a photocopy of his papers. Don't be surprised if this is one page.

Bundesarchiv Aachen-Kornelimünster
they will probably have details of your father's EK award
