new book search site

Up till yesterday I thought addall.com was the best search site for out of print books as it lumps in 41 online book search sites and large bookstores- Alibris, Abebooks, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, the Edward Hamilton remainder house, ILAB/LILA, Powell's in Portland and the Strand in New York- that's a lot of BIG outlets- and throw in Antiqbook in Holland and Biblion, Blackwell, Countrybookstore, Pickabook and WHSmith in England and Indigo in Canada and you have something!

But yesterday I discovered http://www.campusi.com, which seems to be a large college bookstore search site (70 stores) and also lumps in some of the big search sites like Amazon, Abebooks and Alibris. I tried it out and found books I couldn't find on Addall! Also a few extra books that weren't showing up on Addall in sites both the new site and Addall carry in common (Amazon, Abebooks, Alibris)- and a few with lower prices than I could find on Addall, big as it is. So this is a very valuable new master search engine we can use with Addall in order not to miss any title or great price. Few college bookstores list with Addall but this http://www.campusi.com site specializes in college bookstores- some of which acquire some out of print/rare books occasionally. So pass the word! And happy book hunting.

Best regards,
