Re: Id. german aircraft
Do 217 image seems mirrored (see swastika). Engine air intake on starboard engine side makes this a Jumo engine, combination with 4-bladed prop should be Do 217 C-0.

Yes, Italian G.12. Here's the same plane in colour. See pattern of patches and the "8" on tail. I first thought the patches were part of the camouflage, but a closer look at the pattern etc. makes me believe these are repaired enemy hits. What do others think?

Re: Id. german aircraft
Do 217 C-0 was a limited series of eight preproduction aircraft, replaced by Do 217E-series. I doubt they were operationally used as bombers except from weapon tests related to developing/refining the E-series. One or two were reported to be used as recons but details are vague.
Re: Id. german aircraft
Thanks, Denniss.
Are you sure the engines are Junkers Jumo ? I have never seen this engine in this configuration....

Re: Id. german aircraft
Griel Do 217-317-417 book has an image of the same bird (??+NF) as Jumo-engined 217 C-0.
Engine construction and air intake are pretty obvious for Jumo but it's indeed strange to see 4-bladed prop. But not uncommon for prototype series - He 219 protos used 4 blades too.

I'd say Praga E.241.
