G'day, Recently i bought myself an aircraft wheel and i have a suspicion that this might be a wheel from a Nazi-german aircraft!<br/>
After cleaning it i found a few markings such as size and factory number ect,
Markings inside the rim on a small lead plate:
Geräte-Nr. 8-2001C-1
-----------------
Werknummer: 447 9
-----------------
Hersteller mbs
Markings on the tire:
The following markings are present:
8-8024
465 x 165 (size of the wheel)
W
a circle with something in it
a long rectangle with either numbers or words in it, it is too faded to read it
B - 1..(unreadable)
Since it has a pin coming out both sides of the wheel i think it is a tailwheel of some sorts, anyone have any idea's?

Re: Need help identifying this german aircraft wheel.
465x165 wheels were used as tailwheels of He 111 and Bf 110 D to G, as well as Go 150 mainwheels.
