Hello
I recently watched a documentary on YouTube in which the narrator said that the Yak-9 was superior to all German fighters. I am really sceptical about that. What is the scoop? Thanks in advance.
It might have been pretty good as the Soviets won the war !
Well that's scientific...

Well how can you make science out of a random killing in the air ?

Soviets had the numbers....and lotsa time to ddvelope their concepts.

I am pretty sure Yak-9 was very able...in 1944.

they had lots of Yak-9 variants. Some may have been better but some nay have been worse than german counterparts
