Me-410 Hornisse

Hi all. I want to know everything about this plane. Of course I've looked it up but firstly published data is conflicting and secondly I like the more detailed kind of information your regular "was a later redevelopment of the Me-210" just doesn't comprehensively describe.

I especially would love to know about the DB-603G engine, whether these were indeed put into production and whether the Me-410B was ever fitted with them. Was the Me-410B fitted with the DB-603Aa motor instead? What about the Me-410A-2, same engines as the 410A-1? Were any fitted with the 603E motor? Was the 410A fitted with a contra-rotating pairing of 603A and 603D engines like the British Mosquito?
The main reason for this querie is the marked increase in weapons loads for the 410B over the 410A, plus of course general interest sake.

Are there any definitive specifications of any model/subvariant Me-410 flying clean? I understand most published data is for the 410A-1/U2 (fitted with a heavy and drag inducing belly pack of twin MG-151/20 guns).

And anything else pertinent and interesting about the Me-410 would be fantastic to learn. Thankyou all so much.

The Me 410B was originally to be powered by the DB 603G, but was instead fitted with the DB 603A after production plans for the DB 603G were cancelled. The Me 410C and Me 410D would have been fitted with the DB 603G or DB 603E, but these variants were cancelled before they could be built because the DB 603E was still in the development phase.
