You are right, so it's PC 1400 then.
PC 1000 was also very similar, but in its case the distance from the fuse to the forward edge of the tail cone was smaller than from the fuse to the suspension point (always 30 cm).
Thank you. Grzesio.
They are very subtle differences and difficult to see in most wartimephotos. If the Germans had labeled the model on each bomb they would have saved us a lot of time ... :D

But they did! Each bomb had at least its variant (e.g. J), abbreviated designation (e.g. C 1800) or full designation (even as long as SC 250 J Trialen) painted on top with letters 40-80 mm high.
The only problem is, these markings are usually hard to read in photos.

Well, in any case the result is the same....a great difficult for identify the models---- :)

Here, another image from Ebay, in which neither is can seen the markings
It seems that in the case of the two bombs in the center the fins do not reach the main body of the bomb....

There is a lot of markings, sadly sharpness and jpg compression make them practically unreadable. :(

Yes, as they are SD 50 with cast tails - division line between the warhead and the tail fairing can also be seen at their bodies.
Two outer bombs have sheet metal tails, there are two rows of bolts visible fixing the tail cone, so they are most probably SC 50 B or JB.

By the way - I've noticed a very interesting thing in this picture from post #431:
download/file.php?id=427213&mode=view
Notice, markings on all these bombs are painted upside down as compared to their standard orientation. Normally on German bombs they should be read looking from the nose, but here one has to read them looking from the tail. A puzzle. 8O

And when I looked at the last photo now, the two outer bombs are SBe 50 C II, not SC 50 B, with exactly such a marking scheme as illustrated in the drawing above (110 code of HE (Ammonal D) is very prominent on the nose, just the fuse marking seems to be applied in a different location). I just tried to decipher the markings upside down. :D
Then I wonder, when the picture was taken. Production of SBe 50 ceased not later than 1942, but when I look at both SD 50 in the middle, I'm not sure if they have their tail cones painted red or not... They seem to be brighter between the fins than above the fins, what could be red indeed - in this case the picture was taken in 1940, maybe early 1941. If their tails are void of colour marking, it would be 1939 or earlier.

Very nice pic of French bombs with their markings (black markings with details of nature of explosive content and date of filling on yellow painted bombs - yellow = high explosive) . 100kg 50kg and 10kg. Of special interest the swivel attachment on the body of the 100kg bomb is quite well seen here, as well as the nose suspension of the 50kg bomb.

They are FAB-1000 sv, prewar variant.
