Different use for air bomb.

Several hundred feet of tree-lined boulevard were so wired on both sides of the street. It was an attempt to fell trees across the road, which led to an airport. Bombs were never set off.

On bombs it were whistles which would enhance the terror of being bombed. On the Ju87 it was a propeller driven siren that engaged when diving commenced.
