Me 262 B1/U1

Hi Gents!

I.m gonna start a new kit of this jet model, as I want to make a replica of a real one, I search the Internet and found this one:

As I was searching for more photos of the same plane to have a more acurate idea about the painting I found this other ones of the same plane

Me262B_Jet_Fighter_in_Germany_1945.jpg
On this other photo I noticed that the gun arrangament is different of the usual four 30mm cannons, it seems to have only 2 cannons and of smaller caliber than the 30mm ones, as all the Me 262 nightfightes were adapted from the two seat trainer version, maybe this armament arrangment belong to the trainer version?

Also I found this photo of the same plane in the trainer configuration without the nightfighter painting, it seems that they just oversprayed the nightfighter pattern on the original trainer cammouflage, may this be correct?
FE610 Me262B WR110306.jpg
Im also curious about the identificaion number FE610, it is present in both trainer and nightfighter configurations, all the other nightfighters I saw has a red coloured numebr in the nose: 8,12 or 11, what happened with this one? why is using the same number and armament that it has when is a trainer?^

Any help will be welcome

Best regards and thanks for reading

This plane is WNr 110306, Red "6", 10./NJG 11.
The FE-610 number is not a German identification, but a Foreing Equipment number allocated by the U.S. Army Air Force when the plane was in the United States. The photo in the "trainer configuration" was taken also in the United States, but later, after the plane was stripped of its radar gear.
As for the guns, AFAIK some trainers were armed with a pair of 151/20 20mm guns; that is probably the armament of FE-610.
Regards.

To Ironman

thanks for the info, so is in origin red "6" from the well known 10./NJG 11, so I asume the camouflage is based on the original trainer painting with the underside repainted inl black and the upper side sprayed in light grey. Do you know if it was repainted when was stripped of the nightfighter radar gear? it looks like it was

To Von Thoma

Very nice model! I`m gonna make the same kit from Revell, do you have any tip to give me? I like specially the cockpit in your model, is the original one?

Best regards
