I'm researching the an attack on 3 July 1942 by 2 Ju 88's on the Derbyshire villages of New Mills, Hayfield, a quarry at Stoney Middleton and Chatsworth house. I have Peter Smith's "Luftwaffe Over Manchester: The Blitz Years 1940-1944" but wondered how to find more information on the 2 Ju 88s that were lost in the attack.

The only 2 aircraft lost that day that came down on UK soil are covered in Volume 9 of Luftwaffe Crash Archive (Pg 1094-1096) by Nigel Parker. Both Ju 88's were from 2./106 and crashed in Lincolnshire having set out to bomb the de Havilland factory in Horwich. They dropped their bombs in Derbyshire and were then intercepted. More information (including crew names) in the entries in the book.
