9./StG 77 Ju 87D3 question. 2S+LT

For what ever reason a Ju 87 D3 to G1 with anti tank cannon conversion is produced by several kit and diecast model makers. Does anyone with a book or other information on this unit know why? I have been researching the unit and this aircraft in particular but can find no aircrew associated with it. There is a lot of artwork on the web of this aircraft in winter camo sans cannon and as I said a few diecast producers have made some examples with cannon.

What is this particular Ju 87's claim to fame?
