Hello.
I am Japanese writing from Tokyo JAPAN. Sorry MY English is poor. But Please HELP ME.

I'm investigating about how to start DB605 of Bf 109-G6 now.I bought this book.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Messerschmitt- ... =1-3-spell

I read Start Engine page. There was a part I do not understand.

the fuel was selected to P1+P2 and the ICO forward (run), Initially, the engine was primed for 8 strokes after pressure was felt.

I can not understand these words.

P1+P2, ICO,

And I can not understand this sentence.

the engine was primed for 8 strokes after pressure was felt.

Next, I do not understand too.

the mags were selected to 1+ 2'

I looked picture of cockpit of Bf 109G2. I found upper left, mag selector. But I can not understand how to use pilot this switch.Off course I can not
understand this sentence.
-----------------------------------------------

Please let me know these About the part I do not understand.

Thank you and Sorry My poor English. Also, I might ask you a question again. Please tell me then. Sorry again and again.

ICO = idle cutoff
idle cutoff. The position of the mixture control in a reciprocating engine that closes a valve, stopping the flow of fuel and thus causing the engine to stop. Move the mixture control toward idle cutoff and monitor the tachometer.
the engine was primed for 8 strokes after pressure was felt.
I assume this refers to the startup procedure of the cold engine (electric fuel pump). Fuel injection at the cylinder intakes.
