The Messerschmitt Me 323 E-2/WT (Waffenträger) was a gunship version. Only two were built. Their use and fate were unknown. Can anybody tell what these two Me 323 E-2/WT operational history was all about?

From what I can find via Google, only two prototypes were built with any future ones cancelled as they were deemed less useful than a single-engine fighter to escort the transport formations. One may of been assigned to KG 200. There is a book published by Schiffer that covers the Me 323 (ISBN: 978-0764314421) which may well provide more details.
