German airman question

I'd be grateful for any guidance in finding our more about Feldwebel Werner Gottschalk, flying Bf 109E-4/B Werk # 5567 of II (Schl) Lehr Geschwader 2. He had been hit in the petrol tank by anti-aircraft fire from Chatham during a bomber escort sortie on 6/9/40, which I believe was the the first day of his squadron's engagement. He made for home but forced-landed out of fuel at Hawkinge aerodrome at 6.14 pm where he was further damaged by ground fire on landing and taken prisoner.
I would like to learn more of his POW experiences, family and anything related to him.
Many thanks.
