Luftwaffe Photographic Intelligence Unit.

Post by ROGERRB » 23 Sep 2021, 21:10

Does anyone know anything the above Unit?
The reason I'm asking is that I have about 40 photo's of Allied aircraft crash sites taken by a an Unteroffizier from the Photographic Unit between 1941-43; for an article I'm writing I would like to know more about the Unit and also, if possible, the camera he would use.
Thank you.

This might interest you. Rowehl is also mentioned by David Kahn in “Hitler’s spies”.

Hello ;

The picture was taken from Internet, as far as I know, the image is for public use.
I think it came from an auction, maybe Hermann Historica...
