I know, that Yugoslavia bought some Bf. 109 before the war (they were with-out radios), but did Yugoslavia had any JU 87 Stuka's?

Kocjo

Yes, I thought so too.

The reason for asking was, because I was reading a auto-biografy of Slovene soldier in Yugoslav army (he was in Belgrade 1941); he wrote that he saw Yugoslav Stukas.

Kocjo

The only German bomber in Yugoslavian Air Force was the Dornier Do 17K.
Yugoslavia bought 20 Do 17K's in autumn, 1937 and the licence of the type also. Later they manufactured 50 Do 17Ka's.

Foreign Ju 87 users in combat: Italy, Hungary, Rumania.

The Dornier Do J (Do 16) Wal flying boats exported to Yugoslavia were powered by two Rolls-Royce Kestrel engines, and of the twelve Do 22s in service with Yugoslavia, eight fled to Egypt where they were piloted by RAF crews.
