Yep. I wonder if they know the war is over? They could be like those Japanese guys left behind on islands that thought the war was still on. That reminds me of a Gilligans Island episode. Lets hope for the sake of mankind that they don't get in their moon ships and annihilate us!
Still, the sightings themselves are pretty fascinating, and there are just too many to discount. I wonder if it was martians waiting to see if we extinguished ourselves or were studying our methods of warfare and capabilities for (gulp) insidious purposes.

Yngve, I think you talk about the Feuerball and the Kugelblitz.
Zeppelin and Messerschmitt developed a weapon called Flakmine, Zeppelin nominate that weapon Feuerball and Messerscmitt Kugelblitz, it is possible that the last one was the caused of down of a B-24 Liberator in the last days of the War.
